It turned out that vehicle production from PT Hino Motors Manufacturing Indonesia (Hino Indonesia) is the largest global level Hino.

It was submitted by the Vice President Director of Hino Motors Ltd. Masakazu Ichikawa on the sidelines of the launch of the New Hino Dutro in Jakarta, Friday, January 15, 2010.

“Production Hino Indonesia in 2010 is expected to reach 35 thousand units. It was the largest production at the global level,” said Masakazu.

Besides production, Masakazu also states, Hino sales through PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia is the largest sales in the global Hino, besides Japan. Hino sales globally, in 2009, reached 80 thousand. Indonesia has succeeded in printing sales by 12 thousand, or about 15 percent of global sales of Hino.

In 2010, Hino sales target of 16 thousand units, even a year later the target will increase to 20 thousand units. Hino Indonesia increased production, according to Vice President Director of PT Hino Motors Sales Indonesia Jusak Kertowidjoyo, due to the expansion of the factory in Purwakarta West Java.

In the inauguration of the plant expansion which was attended by Vice President Boediono on December 17, 2009, Hino plant production capacity increased to 35 thousand units from the previous which only 10 thousand units.

Investments worth U.S. $ 64.8 million it will produce small-size truck, both Toyota and Hino Dutro Dyna. “The goal is to restructure the plant expansion and optimization of the product in Toyota vehicles.
